Eaton Corporation's Auburn, Indiana Clutch Plant has an immediate opening for a Materials Manager. The job mission is to direct all activities related to the flow of purchased and manufactured material encompassing the functions of traffic, shipping, receiving, and the inter-company logistics center.


The primary responsibility of this position is to drive local implementation of Truck?s Materials Strategy and establish standard material processes. Responsibilities include development, coordination and deployment of the activities of integrated materials management including demand forecasting, capacity planning, customer scheduling, material / product delivery, supplier replenishment and integrated logistics processes. This includes responsibility for all material management processes including; ISiOP (Integrated Sales Inventory Operations Planning), Customer Scheduling, Material and Demand Planning, Inventory Management (including shop floor management) and Standard Packaging

The Materials Manager will provide strategy and direction for the plant materials team, network effectively with internal supply chain resources, and support plant functions to optimize material flow to meet and exceed customer requirements in the areas of productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and safety. This involves the responsibility of standard processes for directing and administering materials scheduling, inventory control, and logistics management.
